wedding cake

wedding cakeI had designed our wedding cake to match the rest of our wedding theme — simple, white with a touch of red, and incorporates a chinese knot.

Jacques Pastry did a wonderful job with the cake. It looked exactly as I had envisioned it, and most importantly, it was absolutely delicious! Photos of the cake above and to the left are courtesy of Eric Limon.

Below are the photos of the step by step progress of the knot that I’d made for Jacques Pastry.

As a nod to how we met, I’d made this t-shirt for Paul two Valentines ago. Many moons before we started dating, we were colleagues at IBM.

The cap shows the original and well-known IBM rebus. The t-shirt is my obvious imitation. I was quite proud of the idea (as corny as it is) and of my copy-cat design.

I had it printed by Zazzle. At the time, they were among a very select few companies that I could find online that offered on-demand printing on black t-shirts. They did a rather nice job.
