I made new dangly earings from a few old loose crystals.
I bought these Swarovski crystals from the International Gem and Jewelry Show many years ago because they were so pretty.
I didn’t (and still don’t) know a thing about making jewelry. I had planned to string them into a mobile to hang by the window. Thus the reason I chose the particular variety of colors and shapes. The mobile never happened…
At last weekend’s jewelry show, I picked up some 14k gold-filled earing studs, beads, and wires to try and make something out of the crystals.
These are the exact raw materials I used for the pair of earings. I think that I would be able to make it look more refined if I had tools beyond my fingernails, this sharp prong, and an old wire cutter. But I’m wearing my new wearings and loving them very much.
