Welcome family and friends!

Woohoo! We’re getting married! :-D

Since we are both web geeks, we’ve put together this website as a place for any news and information related to our upcoming wedding.

We will continue to add things when they become available, including registry information, wedding and honeymoon photos, online RSVP option, etc.

This is what we’ve achieved so far in our planning:

  1. Paul proposed and Kim said “Yes!”
  2. We selected the venue and date
  3. We designed the Save-the-date cards and the wedding invitations
  4. We’ve put together the guest list - this ranks pretty high among the hardest tasks we’ve had to do
  5. We finished the design and development of our wedding website
  6. We finished the printing, cutting, glueing, knotting, addressing of the save-the-date cards and we will mail them out shortly to officially announce the wedding date and this website
  7. We are now just starting to tackle the music, officiant, flowers, dress, honeymon, and the nine gazillion other things that we don’t even know yet that we will have to think about. :-)

We’re sort of winging this, so if there is anything that you think should be here, let us know. Also, if you have any questions, then you can post them in the comments.

We look forward to seeing you on May 24th of 2009…or actually, we hope to see each of you sooner if possible.

I know what “Lorem ipsum” is! I learned about what people generally use it for in my Design Portfolio class at school. Just for that.. I feel incredibly cool right now. The save the date cards are beautiful and I can’t wait!!! :)
While I was opening the envelope with the card in it, I got a paper cut, but it was worth it. ♥

Thanks, Eilene. We’re happy to hear that you and your parents received the card.

I was a little nervous as the lady at the local post office mentioned that one or two of the bumpier ones may end up returned to us.

So far, many have arrived at their destination safe and sound. I will continue to keep my fingers crossed for the rest of them.

Don’t go to Cancún at the end of May for a honeymoon — it’s rainy season. Enjoy the planning! :)
